Lately Leah & Erin have truly become best friends. Every day after lunch they go to their respective rooms for 1/2 hour of quiet time. The rule is they have to stay in their own rooms for the duration, but no one has to nap. Note: They prefer to call it quiet time rather than rest time. I say, whatever makes you stay in there and be quiet works for me. Almost every day when I go up to let Erin out, she heads straight for Leah’s room. Leah lets her in and they continue to play quietly together for a good 45 minutes.

On some days, they will go into the play room and play with the balls in the ball pit for hours. Leah likes to sort them into colors and Erin does whatever Leah does. I LOVE hearing them do things together.

Love that picture. I miss them so much! So glad to hear their sisterly bond is a happy one. I hope all three of my girls will have that together.

How sweet! I think the relationship between siblings is one of the amazing gifts that a parent gets to experience. Jack LOVES Sam. He tells everyone that he is his “Bestest friend!” When he wakes up, he runs to see him, he ask for him all day whie he is at school and he is so excited to see him in carpool. I get frusterated when people say, “They still like to play together?” Like there is something wrong with my kids.
