What you are feeling is so normal. Try not to rush things as everything happens for a reason. Perhaps the time spent at mom’s means more money to spend on a rental or perhaps buying something better down the track. You are an amazing mom and wife and you were so excited to be close to your family so please try and just relax and enjoy it. Having your own space is awesome but remember why you made this move and what it means to you all as a family.

And here is some practical information for you – milk is 50 cents no matter the flavor, lunches in elementary school are 1.75. You can add money to their accounts in multiple ways – you can go to the cafeteria in the morning with cash and tell them your students name and they will add it, or you can send in a check made out to your kids school – put it in an envelope with Leahs name, grade, teacher and the words lunch money on it and they will add it to her account if she brings it to the office or gives it to her teacher. Lastly if you have a student number for her you can register her at mealpayplus.com and just add money by debit card. This also allows you to see what she purchases with the money on her account. For example my kids get one cookie a week in addition to any meals whether they buy hot or bring a lunch…so I can see if they are abusing the privilege or getting two cookies or something instead. And you can add more as needed without having to hope your kid gets it there! Hope that helps.
